OK, I now know what to do with all those tomatoes from the garden. Tomatina is a festival held in Buñol Spain on the fourth Wednsday in August. Participants battle each other with over ripe tomatoes.
The rains are watering our garden. We have been getting some soakers. I made some seafood marinara last night with our tomatoes. I finnally perfected a good recipe for using all those small cherry tomatoes. Make a blender full of cleaned tomatoes, saute garlic and dried hot peppers in olive oil then onions and peppers are sauted, put in the tomatoes, salt pepper and sugar. Let it simmer for 45 min. Optionally put in your favorite seafood, crab, shrimp, clams or mussels cook till seafood is done. You have a nice light and thin marinara.
Cool morning for a motorcycle ride. Took a whole space to avoid tickets. But I feel that I rasie the ire of my fellow commuters. I was working on a new web site last night. I was using the Microsoft Visual Studio Express. It's like the tools I use at work but they are free. The are missing the team sharing widgets. I was working on an ASP.NET site that used SQL Express in the background. My main reason for this is to have some demo code to show to future employers. Look for this site in the future. It should be fun news, links, photo albums should be in there.
Here is where the bike was parked.
You can see that the space was maked no parking because the support wire and the concrete pad will not allow a car to fit. But the bike fits just fine. And it is not blocking movement of the cars for any of the spaces.
I'm going to send the parking authority the pictures and see if they let me off.
Tomorrow Mike, Saul and I are heading down to Cambells Field in Camden to see the River Sharks play the Atlantic City Surf. Hey It's Dietz and Watson Dollar Dog Night!
This is Saul trying to understand. "What do you mean pictures on a Blog? "
We spent the weekend down at the boat. We has Saul and Ellen Miller as our guests. On Staurday there was wind on the bay and we took advantage of it and sailed for a few hours. The wind died off and we motored around took the Rock Hall coast tour and went back to the slip. The pool was welcome but not refreshing as it could be.
82degs this morning. The air is stuffy already. The weather guy says that the temps will break today with thunder storms. It will be a pleasant 88 this weekend.
Walden rigging called. They looked over the boat for the control line project. And they will be setting up the boat in the next trip. Dobbs asked a bunch of questions and tried to find out what I had in mind. I think that when they are done the controls will be easy to use and a clean install. Pictures to follow.
Last night Marilyn and I got new PDA's. Marilyn got a blackberry and I a treo. We should be able to keep in touch better.
